The Sniper Questions
After reading the story, answer the following questions in complete and proper sentences. Keep your Questions/Answers separate from your Glossary and other notes.

1. Think about the TITLE

c. What personal qualities do you have to have to be a Sniper?

2. Summarize the story in 3 sentences.
3. Make a small chart; in one column list 2 things you liked about the story, and in the other, list 2 things you did not like the story?
4. Think about the CHARACTERS
a. Who is the protagonist? How do you know?
b. Describe the protagonist using one adjective. Use a part of the story to prove your opinion.
c. Who is the antagonist? How do you know?
d. Describe the antagonist using one adjective. Use a part of the story to prove your opinion.
5. Think about the SETTING
a. Describe the setting using three good adjectives. Use an example from the story to support your choice of adjectives.
b. Where is the Sniper located?
c. What kind of view does his position give him?
d. Does his position affect how he sees the people around him?
6. What do you think happened next in the story? Pretend YOU are the Sniper, 36 hours after the story ends. You are in jail for the crime you’ve committed. What are your thoughts and feelings? What has happened since the crime? Write a small diary entry as the Sniper (100+ words)
Read over your work to ensure it is neat, easy to read and correct the errors in spelling. Make sure you’ve written in full sentences, and answered all the questions. Hand it in when you’re done!
